Planning

One of the ways to become an effective teacher is to plan well your lessons before transaction. Planning is a thinking activity to achieve the desired goal. The teaching happens in a systematic way because of good preparation.  It can reduce the tension in the class. The teacher feel confidence because mastery over the concept that the teacher will be teaching. The teacher can easily assist the learners because prepared well for the class the previous day.

• Flexibility

Flexibility is a mandatory to be an effective teacher. Effective teachers must be flexible managers who find solutions to the chaos and helpless situations are decided with prudence. The teachers essentially practice positive attitude to overcome unexpected incidents in the teaching field.

• Passion

Passion is commitment to heart and mind. The passionate teachers motivate the students because there is always a reason to keep going in life. Teaching young minds will help them to realize their potentials, skills, ability to grow and find meaning for one’s life.

• Encouragement and appreciation

 Good teachers always understand every student capable of doing if there are encouraged with appreciation. Good teachers always provide the opportunity to grow in their own space. They understand well the feelings of the students and console them with positive attitude.

• Loving

The teacher accepts every child as unique and special. The teacher loves the children to teach effectively. The love for learning and for the learners brings experience of transformation.

• Dedication to Excellence and Service

Good teachers want best from their students and themselves. They encourage students think out of box. They support the learning of the students to understand the concept than to memorize it. They learn from students and excel in services.

A good teacher is like a candle- it consumes itself to the way for others. My internship gave me many opportunities to strengthen my skills and to grow out of my weakness. The first day I was bit nervous how the children will behave in my class. On the first day of my teaching I conducted puzzle activity before beginning the class the children participated well but the classroom was noisy and I could complete only the activity due to time constrains. To engage big number of student is difficult, latter I pondered and split into smaller groups to make them more critical in thinking and acting upon it. I learned to be flexible according to the situation. The teacher has to create interest in the student before teaching any subject.

Since it was second day I had last hour the students expressed teacher we are tired and I did warm activity like when I say sit they have to stand and when I say stand they have to sit and to make active my class. Doing this activity the students were motivated to learn. My class room management was good comparing the previous day experience, it made me feel good. I learned to take decisions according to the priority. Teaching is alone sharing but learning from the students as well. When I started to give personal attention they started to respond to me well. I listen to the student’s difficulty as well one boy behaved indifferent in the class and I took interest to know about him and his family background that made me help him better. The boy did not have mother so, he was very naughty, I called him free time and encouraged him to study and not misbehave in the class. Personal attention can change the behavior of the students.

I could explain well to the students because of my preparation and content knowledge. I could answer and clarify their doubt in my class. Whenever the students went wrong I could correct their pronunciation. The students made effort to read properly the lesson that I was teaching. As a whole for me it was good experience and motivated me positively to do best for the coming experience. According to me the best teacher is one who loves the children, caring, intellectual to infuse the knowledge in the young minds and one who brings out best in the students as well.

Education is all about acquiring knowledge in a systematic way. The teachers can comprehend better the students with the help of classroom interaction techniques. Classroom interaction all about make oneself equip with knowledge, skills , experience and understand better ones teaching profession. It is also one of the means to educate oneself with sufficient information how to deal with students in the class room.

As the teacher enters in the classroom she deals with different levels of students. It is essential to analyze the students how they interact in the classroom. Classroom interaction helps the teacher to build mutual understanding between student and teacher. It develops their confidence during learning process. The teachers are responsible to create learning atmosphere in the classroom. The teacher can divide them into small groups, whole group discussion, individual quick writers and group sharing. These above mention method teachers can carry out in the classroom. The classroom becomes more alive and students become active to discuss about the topic given to them. It is also two ways of communication.  The communication happens between teacher and students, students to students, if they are interested then, they can use technology as well to learn.

Classroom interaction gives handful experience of social interaction with peer and establishes good relationship with teacher as well. Supporting children to develop their social skill is an essential aspect with the realm of their academic education. The student’s classroom skills are nurtured in different ways like culture, beliefs, opinions and personality influences other students. Learning in the traditional school classroom has great advantage in student where they are given opportunities to develop their mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually. The students learn values and gain new information from their discussion as well. A student learning in the classroom atmosphere makes them feel sense of belonging. The presence of the students in the school campus allows him/ her to interact with different individual, hear different suggestions, remarks and listen to opposing ideas. It enhances the students how to interact with different people in a different circumstances. This experience shapes the students to adjust and let go according to ones situation. Classroom setting gives an opportunity to come in contact with teacher. The students can clarify the question that they have regarding the topic that was taught by the teacher.

 The students and the teacher benefit from this classroom learning. The teacher can conduct quiz in the classroom to make the classroom interactive and alive. The teachers can avoid close ended questions and ask students many open ended question like what is your opinion about technology? The students will express the ideas that they have learned in the previous class. This way teacher gets to know what the level is the students have information about the topic. The teacher can prescribed pattern like turn-taking pattern, questioning type, contextualize cues, Narrative and participation structure. As whole classroom interaction can create responsible teacher and student for future.
